Well, Wednesday I turned 20 years old! Yep, that's right people, this tiny 4'10 girl is now 20! Watch out world. That night, Kelly, Lori, Caroline and I all went to get frozen yogurt and decided to save the really fun stuff for friday when we didn't have class the next morning!
We went to Sweet Frog and it was delicious! I got Chocolate, Cake Batter and Cappuccino fro-yo with Reeses, strawberries and chocolate chips on it. It was TO DIE FOR. So good. I filled up my cup to the very top and stuffed my face!
Then last night for my birthday Kelly and I had Lori, Caroline, Laura, Brittney and Megan over to our place for a little mexican fiesta! We had shredded salsa chicken tacos, cheese dip and salsa! It turned out really good! (I forgot to take a picture of the food though, bummer!)
Then for dessert, Brittney and Megan made us a yummmmmmmmmmy brownie pizza! It was uh-mazing. It's a brownie on a pizza pan with a pineapple cream cheese topping and a bunch of strawberries walnuts and chocolate syrup on top.
Here's the recipe if you want it!
Banana Split Pizza
1 (20-ounce) box fudge brownie mix (recommended: Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix)
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained, juice reserved
2 tablespoons sugar
2 bananas, sliced and tossed in lemon juice to prevent browning
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup chopped nuts
Chocolate ice cream topping or chocolate syrup, for drizzling
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 15-inch pizza pan. Prepare the brownie mix according to box directions. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes, or until done. Remove from the oven and cool. Beat the cream cheese, pineapple, and sugar together in a bowl. Use any reserved pineapple juice at this time, if needed, to soften the mixture to a good spreading consistency. Otherwise dispose of or save the juice for another use. Spread the mixture over the cooled brownie crust. Arrange the banana and strawberry slices over the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with the chopped nuts and drizzle with chocolate ice cream topping. Refrigerate. To serve, slice as you would a pizza, and enjoy!

The night was so much fun! I have a great time with those girls! They're all so much fun to talk to and hang out with, so it turned out to be a great night!
I also got some sweet birthday gifts!
Kelly gave me a really cute coffee mug, because I looove coffee, that spells out friend using synonyms for the word like "pal, chum" and stuff like that! It had a big high-waisted belt, gum and a "coffee on me" coupon she had made for me in it!
Lori and Caroline gave me a great little gift basket with a bunch of fun stuff in it including a Panera gift card, a wish list book, a mason jar of bright sunflowers (that I already have on our kitchen table) and lotssss of chocolate! (Duh, I'm addicted)
Since I have a nice big bathtub all to my self, my friend Megan gave me a plush white towel and some really fancy smell good lilac soap! I thought that was so thoughtful, I love baths!
Then my friend Brittney gave me a cute little bird earring holder with some feather earrings on it! I love anything bird themed! It's actually in my living room now cause it goes with the bird posters I got over the summer!
Megan also had a sweet idea for my friends! She wanted them to all write something they liked about me on a sticky note and stick it to my mirror! I thought that was so sweet of them!
Here are some more pictures from the night! I had a great time, a great birthday and I have great friends! I'm extremely blessed, thankful and excited for what my 20's have to bring!!
